BBQ Chicken Wrap

The best thing about this chicken wrap is the BBQ chicken, that's made from scratch with an extra layer of seasoning. Crunchy veggies, cheese, and a fabulous mustard mayo complement BBQ chicken well.

Ingredients

  • 2 Boneless Chicken Breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1/2-3/4 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1.5 teaspoons Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • Olive Oil

For Mustard Mayo Sauce

  • ½ cup Mayo
  • 2 tablespoons Granular mustard

For stuffing

  • 2 cups Coleslaw mix
  • ½ medium Onion finely sliced
  • 4-5 large Tortilla
  • 1 cup Cheddar Shredded optional
  • 4-5 strips bacon Cooked

Instructions

Cook BBQ Chicken For Wrap

  • If chicken breasts are too thick, cut into fillets. Pat it dry on both sides.
  • Mix Smoked Paprika, Garlic Powder, Oregano, Cayenne Pepper, Salt and Pepper. Season both sides of chicken breast.
  • Sear chicken breast 3-4 minutes on both sides. Brush one side with BBQ sauce, flip, and cook for one minute. Brush other side with BBQ sauce as well, flip and cook for another one minute. Make sure the chicken is cooked through.
  • Switch of the flame and let the chicken rest for 10 minutes. (don't skip resting of chicken, as it ensures moist chicken).
  • Cut chicken into slices or chop it. Put into a bowl and toss it with the remaining BBQ sauce.

Make Mayo Mustard Sauce

  • Mix together Mayo and granulated mustard.

Assemble

  • Warm tortilla on a skillet or microwave. Add 2 tablespoons of coleslaw, 1/4th BBQ chicken , top it with chees, crispy bacon and drizzle with mayo mustard dressing.
  • Starting at that end, roll the tortilla up, folding in the sides like a burrito.
  • Heat a skillet over medium high-heat and grease it generously. Place the wraps seam side down in the skillet. Cook, turning the wraps every minute or two, until they are golden and crispy on all sides.

Notes

  • If doing meal prep, then pack the wraps only after they have cooled down completely.
  • Use at least 10-inch to 12-inch tortilla so that it can hold a generous amount of filling.
