Pineapple Soft Serve

Is there anything better than a creamy, smooth soft serve packed with tropical flavour? This pineapple soft serve is made with just 3 ingredients and in less than 5 minutes. Tastes just like a Pineapple Dole Whip but with real fruit in it.

Are you ready for the perfect frozen treat for the summer? This pineapple soft serve tastes like a cross between pineapple frozen yogurt and creamy vanilla ice cream. Made with just three ingredients – Frozen pineapple chunks, coconut cream, and sweet condensed milk.

This has real fruit, no artificial flavors, making this Pineapple Dole Whip a guilt-free indulgence. Make it at the comfort of your home in just 5 minutes. I don’t mind a tiny splash of white rum in there for more of an adult version.

Ingredients

  • Pineapple – Ripe, juicy, fresh pineapple chunks. Cut in small-medium sized chunks, spread in a single layer in a single layer and freeze overnight. As an alternative, you can also use canned pineapple, frozen overnight.
  • Coconut cream – Unsweetened canned coconut cream for that extra creamy texture. Coconut milk might work in a pinch, but use full-fat one. If you are not looking for a dairy-free option, then whipping cream would also work.
  • Sweetened condensed milk– Condensed milk instead of sugar makes the soft serve really creamy.

Additionally, you can add a dash of lemon juice for a hint of tang and lemony flavour.

Make it in less than 5 minutes

To the blender jar, add pineapple chunks, coconut cream and condensed milk. Blend it in medium speed. Use a tamper or a spatula (stop the blender first) in between to mix, so that there are no chunks of fruit left.

Here are a few tips

  • Make sure the pineapple chunks are frozen well. It is best to spread in single layer in a cookie tray for even freezing
  • Use a high power blender, as frozen fruit chunks are hard to break. If you are finding it difficult blend, let the pineapple thaw a bit.
  • If you have leftover or the soft serve has melted, then don’t worry. Shift the mix to an ice tray and freez until solid. Then you can blend it again to get soft serve.

If you love frozen treat you might want to give this coconut icecream or no churn mango ice cream a try.

Ingredients

  • 2.5-3 cups frozen pineapple (cut into smaller chunks)
  • â…“ cup coconut cream
  • â…“ cup sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  • Add frozen pineapple chunks, coconut cream and condensed milk in a blender. Blend it in medium speed unitl smooth and no chunks of fruits left.
  • Serve with a sprinkle of toasted coconut and sliced pineapple

Notes

  • You can use canned pineapple too. Becuase canned pineapple slices are already in sugar syrup, you might want to adjust the amount of condensed milk.
  • For intense pineapple flavour, you can add a drop of pineapple extract.
  • I sometimes add a small banana sliced and frozen to it.
