  • Chicken Breast- Cheap, always available in your freezer. You can also use chicken thighs.
  • To season chicken – Garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Ranch seasoning – I always use from Hidden valley
  • Butter and Oil – Butter adds a bit of richness to the sauce. But you can use only oil too.

Steps To Make Creamy Ranch Chicken

  • Trick to get juicy tender chicken breast – Begin with cutting the chicken breast into cutlets. Cut the chicken into 2 pieces by running through the knife horizontally. Pound any thick part of the chicken to even thickness. This step also ensures the chicken is cooked evenly.
  • Season chicken on both sides well.
  • Use a cast-iron skillet for a perfect sear. Heat oil and butter, sear seasoned chicken on both the sides until golden brown in color. Keep it covered while you make the sauce.

What to serve

You can make a complete meal out of it. Serve it with some creamy mashed potatoes or roasted potatoes and some green peas, roasted broccoli, green beans. Serve it with some pasta as there is enough gravy to pour over.

Storing

This stays well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The sauce might thicken a bit when stored. Add a splash of chicken stock to the sauce while reheating.
